1       Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest

1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting.

1.2 Apologies were received from Jayne Bryant AM. Lee Waters AM substituted for Jayne.

 

2       Inquiry into medical recruitment - evidence session 10 - the medical schools in Wales

2.1 The Committee received evidence from representatives from Swansea University Medical School and Cardiff University Medical School.

 

3       Inquiry into the Welsh Government’s draft national dementia strategy - evidence session 7 - people living with Dementia

3.1 The Committee received evidence from people living with Dementia.

4.1   Inquiry into medical recruitment - additional information from BMA Cymru Wales

4.1 The Committee noted the additional information from BMA Cymru Wales.

 

5       Motion under Standing Order 17.42 to resolve to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting

8.1 The Committee had further discussions about its inquiry into primary care and agreed to issue invites to stakeholders to attend evidence gathering sessions in the summer term.
